Mendocino is a quaint little town on the picturesque Northern California coastline.  The town consists of a few shops, hotels and restaurants.  Mendocino is a great place to spend a relaxing day.  (But don't expect a lot of activities because this is a sleepy little coastal town.)

The Point Cabrillo lighthouse is located between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. 

The lighthouse is located on a bluff by the ocean.  (Wow, what a surprise!)

It is about a half mile walk from the parking lot to the lighthouse.  Along the way we spotted a deer grazing in the fields.  (shown above)
