Grand Turk is a sleepy little island which has a "made for cruise" tourist port. |

The water was crystal clear. There is a beach with numerous free lounge chairs within walking distance of the ship. It was a very nice free beach. |

There is a very large Margaritaville at Grand Turk. There is a large swimming pool, cabanas, etc. But beware the prices. We were told that a Corona is $9 USD. |
We walked down the beach, to the left, to a place called Jack's Shack. Nice little beach bar. Nothing fancy. Just a bar with a few tables and a limited menu. Beers here are $5. We spent the afternoon talking with some fellow cruisers and enjoying some local beer. |

The local beer is Turk Head. We had the "light" and it was very good. We also got a free shot of local rum, which was actually not bad. Janet was a really nice lady and fun to talk with. |
