Uptown Sedona

Uptown Sedona is the original part of town.  It consists of numerous tourist shops and restaurants.    Since it was summer, it wasn't too crowded.  High season, however, is much busier.   The city is setup for tourism.

To the left, is a photo of "Snoopy Rock".

Aliens in Sedona?  Yes, we actually photographed aliens!  They were hanging out at the alien shop.  (What a coincidence!)  While we were in the shop we overheard a conversation which consisted of an individual saying that he was "called" to Sedona.  He didn't know why he was there, but he was on his "journey" to find out why he was called.  Sedona seems to be full of these people.  (That last remark was insensitive, but then I'm not "tuned in" to the collective unconscious.)

Aliens aside, uptown Sedona was alright.  Plan on spending a few hours if you visit.  But don't spend to much time there,  because there is soooooo much more to see than tourist shops.
