If you don't mind spending a little money, we suggest that you stay at The Enchantment Resort.  This place is REALLY NICE!!!!

The best way to describe the Enchantment is to say that it is understated elegance.  The rooms just blend in with the scenery and the location, Boynton Canyon, is the prettiest place in the entire area!

As we went sightseeing throughout Sedona, we quickly discovered that we were staying in the most scenic area of the valley.  Boynton Canyon is written up in the travel guides as "the" place to hike and the Enchantment Resort sits right at the entrance of the canyon.

The photo above is the entrance to the resort.  (Doesn't it look like the entrance to a national park?)

As you can see from the photo to the left, the resort blends in with the surroundings.   The photo below shows our VIEW from our private patio.  In this shot, Carroll is enjoying a glass of Robert Mondavi Chardonnay.
